Today I share some of my parasols and progress on my sunbonnet.
Friday edit: Brandon McKinney just posted this video on when to re-cover and when not to re-cover a parasol.

Hi. I have really enjoyed your videos the last few months. You mentioned that you feel you need to rescue the parasols. I’m a basket weaving. I have quite the collection of Black ash sewing baskets as the price was right. I bought a willow basket with braided straw woven in. I’ve tried to research it however I haven’t found the source. I was in . Europe many years ago and a museum had a straw braiding device. Off course….I could not find the museum info. Thanks for all that you share.

I completely understand basket rescue too!
I almost grabbed my baskets to talk about, but have to figure out the space for doing that.
I recently saw a wonderful basket that incorporated straw plait. The patina was amazing. If you ever find the resources, I would love to know more,
Anna, why are you sharing your parasols
