This winter hood is drafted directly from an original winter hood in my collection. It is a warm hood that is great for windy, snowy weather. (It holds up great to surprise sleet.)
The pattern booklet has not one, but two sets of directions – First is for constructing the hood exactly as the wool original. Second is for constructing the hood in silk still using period correct techniques. Not only that, it is filled with details and photos about the original.
The Electronic Pattern includes 2 PDFs:
A hand-drawn pattern (7 pages)
A 31 page direction booklet with 2 sets directions and detailed notes on the original winter hood with photographs.
