91 day…. 13 weeks….. Approx 100 videos…. Today’s video wraps up my Community Cast Video Series.
I want to thank everyone who has watched, be it from the beginning or later on, be it every day or as you could. I truly hope these videos helped make the last few months easier, even if it was just a momentary distraction.
From the beginning, I knew I wanted these to be as real as possible, reflecting in the moment where I was at. No make-up, bra-less much of the time, and even PJs. All of the videos have been uncut, with only a handful of re-recordings when I completely messed up or got lost in thought.
Don’t worry. The summer series starts Monday. Tomorrow, I may or may not share a video from my museum stroll. It will be in the moment that I will decide. Sunday, I have some flashback videos for you. Then Monday I will introduce the new series with Millinery Monday.
If you have requests for any of the theme days, please send me those in the comments. I will be covering Millinery, my Dolls, Whimsies, and Show’n’tell through June, July, and August.
Thank you for these videos.
I have enjoyed them. I have learned a great deal. I have made projects along with you. Items I probably wouldn’t have made otherwise.
Very enjoyable. Thank you (and Clara) very much for sharing with us.
I just wanted to say Thank You so much for your time and energy and expertise….
I want to gratefully thank you for your Community Cast Video series during the “National Pause”. Watching your videos everyday kept me sane while I volunteered 10 weeks to sew facemasks. Now that my facemask sewing has ended, I am looking forward to actually doing some of your projects! Love the spool holder and button keep. Great items for my “1860s Sewing Days” lectures where I reenact (whenever that happens again). Wanted to share my Lady Liberty doll project you inspired me to finish. She wears a bandeau based on your samples. Now to finish my Sunbonnet Challenge. Pat Miss Clara and stay well, Nancy
Oops! The photo didn’t load. How do I send you photos of projects?
I am so glad you have enjoyed the series. Keeping viewers and myself sane was at the root of why I wanted to do this.
(I emailed you about the photos.)
