The Drawing and The Winner
I will draw the winner (likely using the old-fashioned paper method) on Thanksgiving. I will announce the winner that evening right here.

I ordered!!! Have lots planned for the winter projects, will share when they are done!
I made a housewife to give last Christmas at our unit party. The soldier that won it announced that he had one but it was not as nice as the one I made. The directions were very helpful to this “newbie”. I love the book.
I already bought the book and am looking forward to making a few of these lovely items! I am trying to get my period wedding together, so don’t have time to work on the pretties..,but my birthday is next week and I hope that I get some perfect fabric for working on them!

I have only made one project so far, needle books. But, this winter I plan on making one of the sewing boxes with some red leather.
I have had the book since it first came out. I haven’t had a chance to make anything yet – mainly because I can’t make up my mind what I want to make. I would like to make some needlebooks and some pincushions but I have to figure out which ones.

Shameless plug for my friend’s blog, book, and free give away!
I bought the book earlier this year and have used it to make so many things – both for my own use and for sale in my shop. Here’s a link from my Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151843942548432&set=pcb.10151843944783432&type=1&theater
I preordered the book and couldn’t wait for it to come out! I have made one needlebook, and several rolled cases that turned out great! I want to make a shell needlebook and I am really wanting to make one of the cases with an accessory box….just need more variety of period fabrics. 🙂 Next tiny project is a folded case for my doll Violet.

I shared this over onto my Facebook page! I love reading about all your wonderful ideas and creations, Anna! Looking forward to when life slows down just a little bit and I can be creative again!
I share on my blog! http://alliscreativelane.blogspot.com/2013/11/living-history-fabric-giveaway.html
Finally got a copy ordered. Can’t wait to get it and start playing.
Will share on my FB page as well. 🙂
I love all the projects in Fanciful Utility, but one of my favorites is probably the hard sewing case with built in pin cushion, needle book and scissors case. I plan on making several soon!
