    This image is slightly creepy – the ‘head’ the bonnet she is working on looks very lifelike (or is it a cheld resting her head on the woman’s knee?). And, what is she putting in her mouth? Pins? Small bit of food? Shiver…..

    I think those are pins in her mouth. It is a habit I try not to have.
