Holiday Shop: A Little Holiday Whimsy

First, before diving into the new items in the shop, I want to say a huge Thank You for the incredible response to my gift filled pockets. Half of them sold within hours in Friday when I activated them. I loved seeing that.

Now, on to the new goodies…..

First up, some fun felines. Yes, Clara had a lot of influence on this year’s ornaments. These super soft wool hearts wach have an applique wool shadow cat peeking back at you. They come in sets of three. The brown cats have pretty blue check ribbons, while the black cats have either a soft suede like red ribbon or red with white polka dot ribbon.

I loved making Clara’s friends so much last year, this year they are back as ornaments as well. Made with soft plaid wools, these tree kitties are just adorable. Here is a pair waiting for their holiday decorations.

History and imagination collided for these nest pen-wipers. The idea was sparked by the pen-wipers I made during my pinking demo last spring. Those wool wipers just screamed “nest” to me. So, I listened. I also made them bigger by request. These nest pen-wipers are made of an assortment of wools, all pinked on my antique pinking machines and topped off with hand made straw nests. I even painted the wooden eggs myself. You get to decide if these are birds nests or dragon nests.
