I wasn’t sure I was going to pull off decorating these pieces given how the week went. Honestly, I probably should not have pushed myself to finish these today. But, I did. I think they are lovely.
It has been a long time since I made this shallow crowned style. It is such an elegantly lined style done in straw. This sit very high on the head with ties to help it stay put. This fashionable hat is trimmed with deep ourple velvet Hyman Hendler ribbon and white silk organza M&S Schmalberg flowers. It is lined to keep it from snagging your hair, with ties to hold it in place.
I love how this blue plaid ribbon and dusty midnight blue plume go together. They seem so happy together on this hat.
This green and peachy pink on cream plaid silk taffeta has been wanting to decorate a hat for a while now. It pairs nicely with these velvet roses that wrap to the right on this hat.
