Romantic Era Bonnet

I love how this white straw worked up into this late 1840s bonnet. This bonnet has been stuck in my head for weeks. This style has the most beautiful curves from the straw bavolet to the broad cheektabs. A round brim frames the face aith sweet simplicity.

All of my straw bonnets are handmade. I sew them by hand and block them by hand on antique millinery blocks.
