  9. Oh. Okay.
    Well, the Civil War years land at the end of the era I really like. I find the 1850s to be one of my favorite eras. I like the layering and the shapes achieved. For millinery, there is a series of subtle transitions in bonnet shapes as straw sewers master their art.

  10. Those, fashion illustrations are originally from the University of Michigan!
